PyPoly: Version 0.5 released and development discontinued

The development of PyPoly has been started as an internal project in 2008 and it has been released as public project in 2009. It is still used as a core component in a few projects but the development process has stagnated last year. Because of a lack of time the development has been discontinued. Some projects depend on the features developed since the last stable version 0.4. To simplify the installation process we have released an unstable version 0.5. Feel free to use it but we recommend you to change your project and use one of the many other Python web frameworks out there.

For more information have a look at the PyPoly project page.

PyPoly in the Python Package Index

Since today PyPoly and some components are available from the Python Package Index. This makes the installation of applications using PyPoly much easier.

PyPoly v0.4 released

PyPoly v0.4 comes with many new features and a lot of improvements. It's faster and more stable than the versions before. The Python packages have also been restructured to provide a cleaner API.

Publishing PyPoly

PyPoly is a small Python web-framework. It's development has been started back in April 2008. It was originally the core of an other web-project. In late 2008 the web-project was split into PyPoly(the core) and some modules and plugins(the rest of the project). In 2009 PyPoly was available for public usage, but there were some issues with the project page and the bug tracker in 2010 and a good documentation was still missing.

Today PyPoly gets a new project page and we hope we can release more information soon.
