Today dionaea 0.5.0 has been released.
Dionaea 0.5.0 has been released with new features and some bugfixes.
Memcached
Dionaea can now be used to emulate basic features of a Memcached server. During some tests I was able to capture some basic scans but no vulnerabilities yet.
PPTP
To improve the compatibility the pptp module can now handle and decode some additional packet types. It's also possible to customize the hostname, firmware_revision and the vendor name reported by the emulated service.
Log raw incidents
Dionaea can already export some basic connection information as json. But now it's possible to export raw incidents as json. The main idea behind this feature is to allow external programs to handle incidents and let them do some additional tasks.
Shellshock detection
Dionaea tries to detect Shellshock attacks on the http service and reports the provided URLs.
